OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 March 2009 Helios IT-Solutions, a subsidiary of OAO ARMADA (MICEX, RTS: ARMD), announced it had won a tender to supply personal computers to Sberbank’s offices.

Of all applications filed for the tender, the proposal of Helios-IT Solutions was recognized the best in terms of price and quality, while at the same time this equipment met the highest productivity and security standards. To achieve this, the company specialists had to significantly modify the operating systems installed on the acquired hardware to tailor them to Sberbank’s specific needs. Under the agreement signed with the bank, equipment supplies will continue throughout 2009 and 2010. Currently, ARMADA also takes part in some other Sberbank projects.

“We will make all the efforts to justify the confidence of such a big customer as Sberbank. I believe that Sberbank will fully appreciate the reliability of our equipment and the standard of services, which will put us in a position to bid for further upgrades of the bank’s IT infrastructure,” said Helios IT-Solutions Deputy CEO for cooperation with financial institutions Dmitry Golenderov.
