OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 March 2009 was announced, that the public association Turkmenobakhyzmat (Turkmen Village Services) has received 51 units of Case IH Magnum MX 255TM tractors. The tractors were shipped in accordance with a resolution signed by the president of Turkmenistan. Under the contract signed with Swiss company CNH International S.A., Turkmenistan will receive 300 tractors of the above modification as well as lubricants and spare parts for them.

Turkmenistan has been using Case tractors for more than 10 years now. Case tractors proved successful in the local soil-climate conditions. New tractors will be distributed among regions and will soon get to the fields. The machinery will be operated and serviced by specially trained drivers and machine-operators.

The next shipment of tractors is expected in the coming days, the Turkmen State News Agency (TDH) reports.
