ROSNO Presents Statistical Data Characterizing Womens Role in Company
OREANDA-NEWS On 06 March was announced, that on the eve of the International Women’s Day, the insurance company ROSNO presents the statistical data characterizing women’s role in the company’s business.
Allianz companies in Russia and the CIS rank among the leaders in Allianz Group in terms of the number of women holding senior executive positions. For example, Ms. Nina Galanicheva is the CEO of ROSNO-MS, Ms. Natalya Shumilova is the CEO of Medexpress, and the position of Chairman of the Board in Allianz Kazakhstan is held by Ms. Zhanar Kalieva.
The parent company of ROSNO Group (OJSC ROSNO, Moscow and the Moscow Region) employs 1,715 women, accounting for 67% of the total personnel; furthermore, women account for over 55% of the company’s managers. The following six women are Deputies CEO of ROSNO: Elena Belousenko, Olga Krymova, Irina Pravkina, Valentina Rakitina, Olga Stepennova, and Galina Talanova. Presently, Olga Krymova, Olga Stepennova and Galina Talanova are Members of the Board, together accounting for 50% of the Board.
Three divisions of the parent company ROSNO consist solely of female employees: Accident and Sickness Insurance Department, Recruiting and Training Centre, and Internal and External Communications Department. Two of the company’s female employees dedicated 17 years of their life to ROSNO’s success, and 12 more women have been working in the company for 16 years.
The achievements of ROSNO’s female managers have received public recognition on many occasions. For example, in 2008, the Career Magazine included Galina Talanova, Irina Pravkina, and Olga Krymova in the TOP-200 of the most influential business women in Russia. Also, Olga Krymova and Malika Kulaeva, head of ROSNO’s Marketing Department, were included in the TOP-5 of the rating "Top-1000 Russian Managers — 2008" jointly prepared by the Russian Managers Association and the Commersant Publishing House.
