OREANDA-NEWS  On 06 March S7 Airlines, Russia’s largest air carrier by number of passengers on domestic routes, announced the opening of new regular flights between Novosibirsk and Kazakhstan’s largest city Alma-Ata.

S7 Airlines flights between Novosibirsk and Alma-Ata will begin on April 3, 2009 on a modern Airbus A320 airliner.

The flight will be operated once a week on Fridays. Departure from Novosibirsk will be at 10:00, and departure from Alma-Ata will be at 12:40 local time.

Tickets for the flight are already being sold at all airline ticket sales desks and on the company’s website www.S7.ru. Electronic tickets are available on all S7 Airlines flights from Alma-Ata and Novosibirsk.

The Airbus A320-200 airliner is a modern narrow-bodied airplane that seats 164 passengers: 8 in business class and 156 in economy class. Each new airplane has a spacious seating arrangement with a new seat design and interior in bright tones. These airplanes also have more spacious overhead bins, which creates additional convenience for passengers and reduces boarding and deplaning times.
