OREANDA-NEWS  On 05 March was announced, that volume of retail trade in Moldova amounted to 1 bln 395,6 mln leis (USD 130,6 mln) in January, increasing by 0,7% as compared to January 2008.

According to preliminary data, presented in the quarterly bulletin of NBM, the volume of retail trade at the private companies has reduced by 6,6%. At the same time, in January 2009 the highest volume of retail trade- 62,5% was also registered at the private companies. The growth of sales was registered at the enterprises with the mixed form of ownership-14,2%. The share of these enterprises accounts for 33,1% of the total volume of retail trade in January 2009. The volume of retail trade of the state companies has reduced by 19%.
