OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 March 2009 was announced, that in Nevinnomyssk Secondary School No.1 studies have started in a new chemistry class. The Mineral and Chemical Company EuroChem allocated 1 million rubles for major repair, equipment and automation of the chemistry class and laboratory. Equipment of the new EuroChem class will permit to students to use up-to-date information technologies and carry out scientific and research works of almost any degree of complexity.

Less than over half a year the major repair of the chemistry class and laboratory was carried out, study laboratory furniture, a computer with all necessary peripheral devices including a multimedia projector, a electrified Periodical system of chemical elements of D. Mendeleev and other necessary equipment have been purchased. The most modern materials were used for finishing. Floors are made of ceramic tiles which are resistant to caustic chemical agents. The teacher’s place is automated. In the cabinet two split systems are installed which enables creation of the required microclimate in the premise.

The head of the local education authority of Nevinnomyssk Ludmila Bratsykhina stated: - We are appreciate EuroChem since thanks to it pupils of Nevinnomyssk took this year the second place in the territorial Olympiad in chemistry and will not represent the Stavropol Territory at the Russian level. This speaks for a high level of training of our students in the field of chemistry.

EuroChem is the only one who invests in Nevinnomyssk so much funds and pays so much attention to education. Thanks a lot to EuroChem for that.

The program for creation of EuroChem classes has been in place for several years already. Only for several last years MCC EuroChem has equipped 15 specialized classes in various Russian regions: 4 – in Kovdor in the Murmansk Region, 3 – in Novomoskovsk of the Tula Region, Belorechensk District of the Krasnodar Territory and Nevinnomyssk, 2 – in Kingisepp of the Leningrad Region. The Company has already spent over 21 million rubles for implementation of the program for creation of EuroChem classes. In addition, MCC EuroChem annually allocates funds for development of classes – purchase of tools, chemical agents, manuals etc.

In the regions of location of enterprises of the Company the number of graduates entering higher schoold for chemical specializations has grown up twice since commencement of implementation by the Company of the program for creation of EuroChem classes.
