OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 March 2009 was announced, that the Minister of economy Nerses Yeritsyan took part in the "Capital Markets in Armenia" Conference. This unprecedented in our reality event was organized by the initiative of the Grant Thornton Amyot, audit and business advisory company. The RA Ministry of Economy also provided the assistance for organization of the Conference.

Nerses Yeritsyan stressed in his opening speech the influence and possibilities provided by capital markets on the economy of Armenia.

Within the scope of the conference Armenian and foreign experts presented to the businessmen the perspectives of making Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), the tools and procedures related to capital markets and the peculiarities of their application in the Republic of Armenia. Representatives of public and private sectors, as well as international organizations will participate in the conference.
