OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 March 2009 was announced, that experts from Central Asia, Germany and USA discus the issues concerning security in healthcare in terms of seminar that take place on March 2-5 in Astana.

According to the information of press-release distributed on Friday by the public relations department of European center on researching security issues named after Marshall, more than 40 civil and military specialists’ and heads of healthcare bodies of Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan,

Uzbekistan, Germany and USA participate in the seminar on the problems of regional security in the sphere of healthcare.

The participants consider the following 5 items: civil-military cooperation in the sphere of healthcare; reaction to natural disasters and catastrophes; accidents with emission and efflux of dangerous materials; medical aspects of disaster clean-up operations and catastrophes and joint preparation with the states of the region to the reaction on natural disasters and their clean-up operations.
