OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 March 2009 was announced, that City Hall decided to allocate funds from the city budget to erect a parking garage on 54 Smolnaya Street in northern Moscow.

“The parking garage is scheduled to be under construction in 2009-2010,” a source from City Hall said.

According to the official, the object is to be put up on the 0.468-hectare site, its area is designed to be 16,380 square metres.

“A customer in charge of designing and building as well as a prime contractor of the development will be selected at the auction,” the source added.

Besides, the prefecture of Moscow’s northern administrative district is to make an inventory of the plane garages located in the development site and nearby areas and take them down within the implementation of the project.
