OREANDA-NEWS. March 3, 2009. In Jan-Feb 2009 the nuclear power plants of Energoatom Concern OJSC generated 26.8bln KWh.

All obligations to consumers for the given period were fulfilled.

This index makes up 93.7% of the index of Jan-Feb 2008 due to decline in the consumption rate. The nuclear power plants with WWER reactors produced 14.0bln KWh, the NPPs with RBMK, BN and EGP reactors – 12.8bln KWh.

The capacity factor was 81.3%.

In Jan-Feb 2009 the Russian NPPs operated safely and efficiently with no above “0” INES incidents registered during the period just like in Jan-Feb 2008.
