OREANDA-NEWS. March 3, 2009. Head of Administration of Autonomous Republic of Ajara Mr.Levan Varshalomidze paid an official visit to Baku. Within the framework of the visit a meeting between official delegation representatives and local businessmen was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan, AZPROMO and Embassy of Georgia in Azerbaijan on March, 2nd.

During the meeting the presentation on investment climate and business opportunities of Ajara were brought to the attention of the Azerbaijani entrepreneurs. Azerbaijani side was represented by more than 20 businessmen from tourism, construction, industry and agriculture sectors. During the meeting discussions between Ajarian officials and Azerbaijani businessmen were held.
