OREANDA-NEWS  On 03 March was announced, that according to the data available as of February, 24, JSC “Moldova Steel Works” produced 44,782 tonnes of steel billets, 32,418 tonnes of rolled products and shipped to its customers 32,014 tonnes of steel products in February. The mill’s stock of metal scrap was 20,102 tonnes as of the same date.

The Electric Steel Melting Shop started an eight-day overhaul of the EAF and its auxiliary equipment at 6:13 on February, 24. The scope of works will include the replacement of the combustion chamber, the repair of steel structures of the EAF tilting platform, the repair of the ladle transportation railway, the repair of the furnace foundation and other works.
