OREANDA-NEWS. March 2, 2009. Azerbaijan-Belarus Business Forum and consumer goods exhibition opening ceremony was held on 24th of February in Baku. The event organized by AZPROMO and Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Azerbaijan brought together about 20 representatives of timber industry, machine building, meat and milk production, light industry, construction and other fields from Belarus and more than 20 Azerbaijani entrepreneurs from relevant sectors.

The forum was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Mikayil Jabbarov, Governor of Minsk Province Mr.Leonid Krupets and Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Azerbaijan Mr.Nikolai Patskevich. After the official part, business networking between entrepreneurs took place.
