On 02 March 2009 was announced, that the Interpipe Nyzhniodniprovskiy Pipe Rolling Plant < NITR UZ UR > finished 2008 with a loss of UAH 110.278mn while 2007 result was UAH 433.146mn profit. This information is from AGM announcement planned to be conducted on April 16, 2009. The cumulative retained earnings were UAH 754.367mn in 2008.

The drop of demand in the pipe production on both external and internal markets is the reason of negative results of one of the leading Ukrainian pipe producers. Millennium Capital does not expect improvement of the situation in 2009 since traditional pipe customers have not yet recovered after the crisis.
