On 02 March 2009 was announced, that Zaporozhtransformator < ZATR UZ NR >, one of the world's largest producers of transformers, signed new contract with Iranian company MAPNA to supply 11 transformers till March 2010. This statement was made by press service of the company. The contract is worth EUR 19mn. The company also informed about plans to sign new contracts with MAPNA in the first half of 2009 to supply 16 transformers to Iranian GenCos.

It is POSITIVE news for ZATR.
