OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 March 2009 was announced, that in the contest between 114 enterprises of food and processing industry in Vinnitska oblast, ASTARTA's subsidiary "Agropromtsukor" (Zhdanivsky sugar plant) won "The best trade mark of Podillya-2009" award. The plant was awarded due to the high quality of its products and efficient production.

Comment by director of Zhdanivsky sugar plant Yevhen Zverkov: "We are always customer-oriented, therefore the main policy is to satisfy customers' best needs. I want to add that our team was rewarded with awards and bonuses for the high production results several times. We hope that due to our cohesion and high qualification of the sugar plant staff, we will continue to produce high quality products and can achieve new professional tops."

Zhdanivsky sugar plant is one of the oldest enterprises of the sugar industry operating since 1852. In 2003, the plant joined  ASTARTA Group. In 2006 - 2008, it was thoroughly overhauled. In 2007, the system of the production quality control and security in accordance with international standard ISO 9001:2000 was introduced  at the plant. The  same year, the plant won in "100 best products of Ukraine contest in the Food Producers category". In the 2008 production season, the plant produced over 23.4 thousand tons of high quality sugar.
