OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2009. Support for Russia’s metals industry during the global financial crisis was the subject of discussion at the meeting, which also examined the issue of protecting the interests of workers at companies in the metals sector. 

Taking part in the meeting with the President were Oleg Deripaska, general director of Russian Aluminium Company, Vladimir Potanin, president of Interros Company, and Vladimir Strzhalkovsky, general director and chairman of the board of mining and metals company Norilsk Nickel.
