OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2009. Revenue in 2008 amounted to 31.2 bln. rbls, which exceeds the same for 2006 and 2007. The plan for 2009 envisages revenue growth by over 22%. 

"Irkut" profit in 2008 is expected in the amount of nearly 350 mln. rbls. Accrued taxes to the budgets at all levels came to over 5.9 bln. rbls.

The funds invested in R&D, technical development and social infrastructure equaled 3.2 bln. rbls.

Corporation’s personnel average salary increased by more than 20% compared to the same in 2007.

"Irkut" President Oleg Demchenko highlighted: "Preliminary results of 2008 and 2009 forecast testify to the stable situation and good perspectives of our company". He also noted that "Irkut" would increase investing into R&D and technical upgrading. "2009 will witness over 5.5 bln.rbls. allocated for these tasks, and this will ensure further works on the development of МС-21 short/mid-range airliner and on mastering its production at the Irkutsk Aviation plant", - Oleg Demchenko added.
