OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 February 2009 was announced, that Ingosstrakh IJSC paid the last tranche of compensation to tourists for insurance of travel operator’s civil liability. The insured accident was related to early termination of the fam trip around Central Africa (Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, San Tome and Principe, Kongo) organized by the travel agent insured with Ingosstrakh. The trip was terminated because of bankruptcy of the travel agent’s partner -  Eguatorial Tours.

The compensation was paid in a pre-judicial procedure after all the tourists and the arranging travel agent had gathered and provided to the insurer the required documents.

Total payment made by Ingosstrakh IJSC amounted to  RUB  1 800 000.
