OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 February 2009 was announced, that JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” (JSC “FEGC”) registered in tax inspectorate in Moscow - in Interregional inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service - as one of the largest taxpayers. By this fact the company is related to enterprises, most active in tax contribution the public purse. There are only around five hundred companies throughout Russia. Its cumulative tax payments amounts three fourths of all allocations to Russian budget.

The largest taxpayers are considered the companies with tax allocation of federal taxes and charges in amount of over 1 billion Roubles and with annual earning and assets amounted over 20 billion Roubles. JSC “FEGC” only in the last year has paid in federal, regional and local budgets amount of 2 billion 510 thousand 659 thousand Roubles. The earning of the company from the operational activity in 2008 was over 35 billion Roubles.

The Chief Accountant of JSC “FEGC” Lyudmila PRODAN, commenting the tax registration of the energy company in Moscow, stressed that this fact does not really mean that now all taxes will “leak” to Federal center. As before, the taxes and charges will be received from JSC “FEGC” by budgets of all levels. The energy company are keen to the policy of fair business, the mandatory condition of which, on her opinion, is the timely and complete allocation of all legally provided tax charges.

JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” is dealing with production of electric and heat power, and also supply of municipal heating in five constituent territories of RF in the south of the Far East: in Amurskaya oblast, Primorsky and Khabarovsky krais, Jewish Autonomous oblast and in the south area of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
