OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 February 2009 was announced, that representatives of the Russian-Vietnamese Friendship Society headed by the Chairman of Central board of this society Buyanov V.P. visited office of Zarubezhneft JSC. Guests met with the General director of the Company Brunich N.G., leading managers and specialists supervising vietnamese projects.

During the conversation the russian-vietnamese cooperation and friendship was touched upon. Buyanov V.P. told the history of establishment of society, its main directions of activity, marked key role of public associations in strengthening and developing of relations of Russia with other countries.

Speaking to the guests Brunich N.G. said that founded more than 27 years ago Vietsovpetro JV is a good example of cooperation between Russia and Vietnam. And today experience of this enterprise plays important role in world practice of oil production. He underlined that Intergovernmental agreement which was signed in autumn last year will allow Vietsovpetro JV to continue its work after 2010. Brunich N. G. also mentioned that now in Russia was formed and began working the joint russian-vietnamese company Rusvietpetro. It’s a new stage of relations of two countries.

The General director expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Russian-Vietnamese Friendship Society for important work on strengthening of relations and also for close and fruitful cooperation with Zarubezhneft JSC which, as he hopes, will be developed and advanced in the future.

During the meeting Buyanov V.P. handed over to the representatives of the Company Commemorative badges of the Russian-Vietnamese Friendship Society and Jubilee medals devoted to the 50th anniversary of its activity, for big contribution to the matter of strengthening of relations and cooperation of the countries.
