OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2009. Director General of Rosatom State Corporation Sergey Kiriyenko and President of Atomstroyexport CJSC Dan Belenky have visited the construction site of Bushehr NPP in Iran.

On Feb 25 2009 Director General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation Sergey Kiriyenko and President of Atomstroyexport CJSC Dan Belenky paid a working visit to the construction site of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, a turnkey project that is presently being implemented by Atomstroyexport in Iran.

During the visit Kiriyenko and Belenky observed the loading of dummy fuel assemblies into the reactor of the 1st unit.

The loading of dummy assemblies is an important stage of a reactor’s commissioning process. It has made possible the assembly of the reactor and the conduct of the hydro-testing and circulatory washing of the 1st and 2nd circuits

President of Atomstroyexport Dan Belenky pointed out that his company was doing its best to comply with the commissioning deadlines.
