OREANDA-NEWS  On 25 February was announced, that in January, the Foundation of Local Communities of the Enbekshikazakh District organized a forum for local entrepreneurs on developing social partnerships. The Foundation is a grant recipient and primary partner of the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia (EFCA) in its Development of Local Communities program.

The main goal of the forum was to provide a platform for dialogue and an exchange of ideas among representatives of business, local government agencies and society on building and developing social partnerships in the region.

Taking part in the forum were representatives of local business, the district akimat and community organizations, in addition to journalists and experts in corporate social responsibility. During the forum, local companies that are developing corporate social responsibility programs shared their experiences and successes.

"Today's forum united entrepreneurs and representatives of local government and society around a single table and allowed for the open discussion of problems of and prospects for social responsibility on the part of business and local philanthropy," remarked the Foundation of Local Communities Director Bakhytkul Yelchibayeva.
