Kazan Electrical Networks Reconstruct SS-35 kV Leninskaya
OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2009. It was built in 1966 as the village substation (SS) with the set-up outside switchgear 10 kV (KRUN). Active construction in the neighboring district and the inadequate growth of the load dictated the urgent necessity of increasing the transformer capacities at this substation. Reconstruction of SS "Leninskaya" will be the final stage of transition to 110 kV substations feeding from the outdoors switchgear (ORU) 35 kV of Kazan CHP-2. In 2008 was completed the reconstruction of SS " Severnaya", that is now fed up with Kazan CHP-3 through the newly built cable-aerial line 110 kV.
Transition of SS "Severnaya" and SS "Leninskaya" to voltage 110 kV will allow to liquidate ORU -35 kV at Kazan CHP-2. The unoccupied area will be used for extending the ORU - 110 kV of this CHP.
Location of substation "Leninskaya" in the residential blocks according to SNIP, enforces the construction of indoors substation. Because of this currently at the SS has been completed the simplified scheme of ORU -35 kV on the circuit breakers to the aim of making the best of the territory for reconstruction. In accordance with its project were finished the electricity transmission lines to the substation using the cable 110 kV insulated by the cross-linked polyethylene. Along them to ОRU -35 kV of SS the 35 kV voltage is transmitted.
After completing construction and mounting the facilities the cables 110 kV, temporarily used on 35 kV voltage, will be paled in the indoors switchgear (ZRU) 110 kV in the newly-built premise of the substation. At the same time will start construction of the underground cable line 110 kV CHP-2- Leninskaya, feeding the SS "Leninskaya" on the permanent basis.
In accordance with the existing loads and demanded capacities the project of reconstruction implies increase of the transformer capacity of SS "Leninskaya" to 2х40 МVА.
