OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 February 2009 was announced, that Turboatom (PFTS: TATM) had supplied to Ukrhydroenergo power generating company a hydro-turbine wheel for Kanev hydroelectric station.

The supplied product cost amounts to UAH 17 mn.

After reconstruction the hydro-power plant capacity will increase from 19.2 MW to 23 MW, and its efficiency will grow 4%.

Besides, by March 2009, Turboatom plans to ship a distributor to Ukrhydroenergo for Kyiv hydroelectric station (power unit #17).

June 2, 2008, Turboatom signed a contract with Ukrhydroenergo for production and supply of 5 hydro-turbines for Kyiv, Kanev and Kakhovka hydroelectric stations for the total of UAH 60 mn.
