Uzbek-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission Met in Dushanbe
OREANDA-NEWS On 20 February was announced, that the sessions of the Joint Uzbek-Tajik intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation and the Joint Uzbek-Tajik intergovernmental commission for delimitation and demarсation of the state border between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan were held on 18 February in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Chaired by the first vice prime minister of Uzbekistan R.Azimov and vice prime minister of Tajikistan M.ALimardon, the commissions considered important issues of development of bilateral relations, which play a great role in the interests of the both states.
The commission participants agreed that the meetings were yet another prove of the fact that the two nations, which lived in good neighborhood and friendship for thousands of years, are able to solve all the emerging issues on the basis of the respect of the interests of each other.
