OREANDA-NEWS  On 19 February was announced, that Perm branch of OJSC ROSNO paid an insurance compensation of 1,880,025 roubles under the concluded combined mortgage insurance contract due to an insured accident — death of the borrower.

In 2008, ROSNO’s Perm branch concluded a combined mortgage insurance contract with the client for 18 years, with annual contributions. The insurant had been protected against the following risks: death caused by accident, death caused by natural reasons, permanent and complete loss of general working ability due to an accident with ascertainment of I or II disability groups, permanent and complete loss of general working ability due to natural reasons with ascertainment of I or II disability groups, temporary complete loss of general working ability due to an accident.

Several months later, the insurant was inflicted heavy bodily harm leading to his death. Based upon the fact of the insured event — death of the insurant — ROSNO has paid an insurance compensation to the insured beneficiary, CJSC Reiffeisenbank, which had issued the mortgage loan.
