OREANDA-NEWS  On 18 February was announced, that the Kazakhstan connection enterprises in January increased the volume of services by 7,5%.

By the enterprises of Kazakhstan in January 2009 rendered services in amount of 36,532 billion tenge (current 148.90 / USD  1), which is 7,5% more than in January 2008.

According to the Agency of RK on statistics during the reporting period in the income structure of the services share of mobile communications was 53.8%, distance telephone communications - 12,2%, other services - 10,1%, Internet - 9.1% Local telephone communications - 6,6%, broadcast TV and radio - 2,9%, data transmission - 2,7%, postal and courier communications - 2,6%.

Meanwhile, total revenues from services to the population amounted to 41.7% (an increase of 3,2% compared with January 2008).

Today, in Kazakhstan, the bulk of telecommunications services and telecommunications services provided to JSC “Kazakhtelecom” and state-owned company KazPost.

There are five mobile operators, including three operator providing services in standard GSM. The population of Kazakhstan exceeds 15.7 million people.
