OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2009. The first round of the amateur art contest among employees of Smolensk Nuclear Power Plant and members of their families took place at Neutrino Culture Palace Feb 14–15 2009. Over 150 people from 22 workshops and departments of Smolensk NPP took part in the contest.

They contended in choreography (classical, folk, modern and ballroom dance), singing, instrumental music, drama, “I am an Author” nomination (music, song, poetry, prose), arts and crafts.

Those who have qualified for the second round are already preparing for the finals and the gala, to take place in late Mar 2009.
