OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2009. The RT Government held a conference with the participation of Rustam Minnikhanov – RT Prime-Minister, Ildar Khalikov – Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny, Sergey Kogoghin – Director General of KAMAZ Inc., Vladimir Busyghin – Director General of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim in Kama Industrial Park Master.

New unprecedented measures for support of KIP Master partners were announced at the meeting.

First of all, according to Timur Shaghivaleev – Chairman of Committee of Small and Medium Business Development (Tatarstan Republic), the so-called rent vacation for 141 enterprises occupying 74 thousand square meters of working and office areas in KIP Master will be prolonged for 4 months. RUB 10.8 million will be assigned for this goal from the Tatarstan budget. Besides, in connection with a sharp decrease in demand for production, interest payment for the enterprises which leased new equipment is halted till the end of 2009. By the way, these preferences concern enterprises not working with KAMAZ as well.

Also this year 15 grants 1 million roubles each from the republican funds are allocated for opening new businesses on the KIP Master area. As the tenants say, a better production area can’t be found in Naberezhnye Chelny today: KIP Master has got all necessary infrastructures, means to reduce as well as to increase the occupied area. According to Maksim Steblov – Director General of OAO Kama Industrial Park Master, the park is unique: in spite the fact that the rented area of the park diminished by 80%, the number of enterprises wasn’t reduced, but even grew.

The attendees of the conference talked about efforts to attract new tenants to occupy 50 thousand square meters which will be rented on the territory of KIP Master soon. The leaders of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding and Nizhnekamskneftekhim were charged with searching and placing new polymer processing productions.

At the same time about 14 thousand square meters of the area won’t be occupied. The management of KIP Master makes efforts in order to bring them into play as well. There is a logistic terminal operating in a test mode on the territory of the park – an original storage room with all associated logistic services (unloading, loading, identification of goods, delivery etc.). A resident of the logistic terminal pays only for quantity of goods and for a period of time during which these goods are kept there. Not only a tenant of KIP Master but any other businessman can become a resident of the logistic terminal.

It should be recalled that KIP Master was established 5 years ago on the premises of ZAO Remdiesel. According to 2007 results, a net profit of the Industrial Park made up 11 million roubles. However, in 2008 many residents of KIP Master stopped working because of lack of orders and general shrinkage of market as a result of the economic crisis. In this connection at the beginning of 2009 lease vacations were announced.
