OREANDA-NEWS  On 17 February was announced, that EBRD president Thomas Mirow highly appreciates cooperation with Ukraine. “Ukraine and the EBRD develop not only a long-term but also very fruitful cooperation,” he stated during the meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko.

According to the EBRD President, the EBRD has invested in Ukraine about 4bn euros during recent years that, in his opinion, will promote additional inflows of private investment to our state.

Moreover, Thomas Mirow declared that EBRD takes pride in being able to help Ukraine to overcome the accident consequences at the Chornobyl NPP. According to him, the international community’s efforts for solving this problem are very important both for Ukraine and the international community, “It also demonstrates that international solidarity can yield great results”.
