OREANDA-NEWS. February 16, 2009. In January 2009, Archangelsk Sea Commercial Port handled 91,200 tonnes of cargo (-16.7%, year-on-year), the company reports. Transshipment of export cargo fell 11-fold to 5,900 tonnes (against 67,400 tonnes in January 2008). Import increased 6 times to 35,400 tonnes. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo amounted to 46,500 tonnes (+40%). Transshipment of cargo not related to sea traffic totaled 3,300 tonnes (+10%).
