OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 February 2009 was announced, that LUKOIL raised a EUR 1 billion unsecured loan facility (the ‘Facility’) yesterday. The Facility was extended by Gazprombank (Open Join-stock Company).

The Facility has a fixed interest rate of 8% p.a.

The length of the Facility is 3 years.

The proceeds under the Facility will be used for general corporate purposes, including the granting of loans to the borrower’s subsidiaries and affiliates and also for the repayment of other banks’ loans.
