OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 February 2009 was announced, that after an increase of capital of Prominvestbank on UAH 1,1 billion in January this year, the main shareholder of Prominvestbank became Vnesheconombank (Russian Federation) with 75% of the share capital.

Recently Supervisory Board of Vnesheconombank (Russian Federation) made a decision in relation of implementation of its obligations according to the Financial Recovery Plan of Prominvestbank and providing long-term recourses in the amount of UAH 7 billion.

Facilities should be transferred to Prominvestbank in USD until March 20, 2009.

On Tuesday, February 10, 2009 the first tranche in amount of USD 390 million was transferred to Prominvestbank. This will help to set activity of Prominvestbank in complete accordance with the requirements of Law of Ukraine 'On Banks and Banks Activity' and to provide fulfillment of all economical norms, stipulated by normatively legal acts of National Bank of Ukraine.
