OREANDA-NEWS. On February 12, 2009 Within the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine a Council of Auto Owners has been set up. Such a decision was approved by the Government on Wednesday, at its session.

“The Council will operate within the Cabinet of Ministers until we regulate all urgent issues of automobile owners. We will be working on the base of this Council and seeking for harmonious and compromise decisions,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko announced during the sitting.

According to the decision the Auto Owners’ Council is a consultative-advisory body. Its co-chairs have been approved Prime Minister of Ukraine and a representative of the Council from automobile owners Vitalii Pavlov. Besides, the Council was formed of representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Finance Ministry, other departments and representatives of auto owners.

The Council will operatively respond to the problems, emerging among owners of vehicles, and will tackle them in synergy with the Government.
