Ms. Larisa Popovich, First Deputy CEO/COO of OJSC ROSNO-MS, acted as moderator of the roundtable discussion "Transition to Drug Insurance. Interests of Oncological Patients" held during the Forum.

This Forum was arranged under the auspices of the RF Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development, RF Federal Agency for Supervision of Healthcare and Social Development, Health Protection Committee of the State Duma of the RF Federal Assembly, Social Policy and Healthcare Committee of the Federation Council of the RF Federal Assembly, and the Non-Commercial Partnership "Equal Right to Life".

In her roundtable speech, Ms. Larisa Popovich noted: "Drug insurance could become one of the more effective tools for improving affordability of drugs to patients in the environment of crisis. And this is exactly the topic which aroused most interest during discussion at the Forum. The Interregional Anti-Cancer Social Movement has demonstrated that it was a broad public coalition advocating affordability of the modern effective treatment to the Russian oncological patients.

It has managed to unite patients, doctors, all interested experts and public figures, and build a constructive dialogue with the RF authorities, engaging the most qualified professionals. For ROSNO-MS, which provides insurance protection to the private individuals of different age groups in many Russian regions, the participation in this Forum is important for its role in giving more extensive information coverage of the protection of rights of oncological and other patients in need of medical assistance and drugs".
