Bank Vozrozhdenie and Visa Launch New Service

Vozrozhdenie Bank together with international payment system Visa launched a new service in the Russian market — Visa cards accounts top up with cash (Visa Money Transfer) at the Bank’s ATM. Vozrozhdenie Bank and Visa’s unique offer is a convenient way to top up cards accounts as well as to make repayments, reported the press-centre of Vozrozhdenie Bank.
The first project of cash transfer to Visa cards was launched in Russia in 2005 with Eleksnet. Since 2006 Russian banks provide Visa Money Transfer service that allows clients to make repayments or transfer money to their friends and relatives. Depending on the bank’s terms and conditions, clients can transfer money from any Visa card to any Visa card, or top up their Visa card accounts at the ATM of the issuing bank. The new service of Bank Vozrozhdenie and Visa is a simple and convenient way to top up any Visa card account of the Russian bank and is an important initiative for Russian consumers and banking industry in general.

The service is available for transfers in rubles with the transaction limit of 500 USD. As of any other Visa Money Transfer service, safety of Visa cards accounts top up with cash through Vozrozhdenie Bank’s ATMs is guaranteed and data transfer is secured in accordance with PCI DSS safety standard.
“We are keen on in developing the high quality self-service at the Bank’s ATMs not only for our clients, but also for cardholders of other banks. This service is a convenient way to top up the card account and to make repayments for the cardholders with no access to the ATMs and offices of their issuing bank”, says Mark Nahmanovich, Vozrozhdenie Bank Deputy Chairman.
The Vozrozhdenie Bank’s ATM network comprises 642 units, 148 of which have cash-in function. Vozrozhdenie Bank’s ATMs support cash withdrawals, card accounts and deposit accounts top up online, repayments of mortgages, consumer, auto- and credit card loans; also utility bill, mobile phone, TV satellite and other regular payments.
