OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2009. State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ extended the first tranche of the credit worth 390 million US dollars to Joint Stock Commercial Bank - Investment Industrial Bank (Prominvestbank), Kiev, Ukraine within an opened credit line.

The opening of a credit line for Prominvestbank in the amount of 1 billion US dollars was approved by Vnesheconombank’s Supervisory Board on February 4, 2009 in order to implement the plan aimed at financial rescue of Prominvestbank.

In January 2009, Vnesheconombank purchased a 75% plus three shares stake in Prominvestbank.
