SITRONICS Information Technologies Upgrades "MTS Dealer Portal"
OREANDA-NEWS. On February 09, 2009 SITRONICS Information Technologies, one of the largest system integrators working in Eastern Europe and CIS countries, announced the successful implementation of the project on functional enhancement of the MTS Dealer Portal Internet system for the largest Russian mobile phone operator OJSC Mobile TeleSystems (MTS).
MTS Dealer Portal information system, created on the IBM WebSphere software platform, was developed and implemented by the specialists of SITRONICS Information Technologies in 2006. The object of this system is the enhancement of communications with the MTS dealers, i.e. legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. The Portal users have a possibility to get service and operation information, including periodically changing information, and to promptly receive answers to the questions from MTS employees or colleagues. At present, there are approximately 10,000 users registered in the system throughout the territory of Russia.
Two years of successful functioning of the Portal resulted in the need to create additional functions and optimize a number of processes, which in its turn prompted the MTS Company to engage SITRONICS Information Technologies in the project on functional enhancement of the system. The project goal was to gain popularity, increase website traffic and improve quality of the information content at the Portal. As a result, the Portal has launched a basic version of training preparation for dealer personnel to be trained directly at the Portal website, the questionnaire survey service for personnel, with detailed reports on results; the statistics unit has also been substantially enhanced, which now allows getting information necessary for the calculation of the key performance indicators of the Portal.
“OJSC MTS highly esteems the quality of the documentation prepared and the compliance of the implemented MTS Dealer Portal Internet system service with the functional requirements defined within the scope of the project. Specialists of SITRONICS Information Technologies have carried out all the works in due time and with proper quality,” says A.Mosyakin, Deputy Director of the OJSC MTS Key Account Management Department.
