OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 February 2009 was announced, that on 1 February Far Eastern Energy Company celebrated two year anniversary of its activity.

Two years ago one of the largest energy companies of Russia JSC Far Eastern Energy Company was set up in the result of large-scale Far Eastern energy industry reform by merging of the energy systems of Primorsky, Khabarovsky, Amursky and Jewish Autonomous Regions.

On the eve of the second anniversary the activity results for the previous year had been summed up in JSC FEEC.

The Company’s turn over for the year 2008 amounted to 56 billion rubles that enabled to fulfill all the obligations to the Electricity Wholesale Market suppliers and Grid companies for the energy transportation services as also to meet all the current obligations for the earlier taken out credits.

Besides that in 2008 JSC FEEC implemented a number of important investment projects for upgrading electricity consumers’ service. Thus since 1 January 2008 all the Company’s subscribers started receiving receipts on “the package principle” – electricity bills are sent by the quarter that allows to a subscriber to consider electricity expenses more efficiently.

The departing year has become important stage in implementation of the Consumers’ service offices opening programs: new CSO have been opened in the city of Khabarovsk, Vyazemsky and in the village of Vanino of Khabarovsky region.

The work with wholesale electricity resellers also brought its results. In December 2008 an agreement was reached with JSC “Utilities energy industry ”(Kommunalnaya energetika) (Shkotovsky district of Primorsky region ) and “Light Ltd ”(Svet) (Selemdginsky region and the town of Svobodny, Amursky region) about transfer of the electricity sales functions to the branches of JSC FEEC - Dalenergosbyt and Amurenergosbyt. Thus since 2009 56 thousand physical bodies and 1459 enterprises and companies more will become the subscribers of the Company.

For the present day subscribers of the Far Eastern Energy Company are almost 1,5 million physical bodies and 38,4 thousand of enterprises and companies of the four Far Eastern regions.

In accordance with the assurance of the JSC FEEC’s directorate the work aimed at implementation the main investment projects will be continued, the Company plans to open 5 more Consumers’ Service Offices in Primorsky, Khabarovsky and Amursky regions.
