OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 February 2009 was announced, that nearly Gcal 17 mil of heat have received the citizens of the Far East from JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” (JSC “FEGC”) in the passed year – on 3.7% more than the previous year. The raise of the volume of heat supply to the citizens and companies became possible thanks to efficient struggle of the Company with losses in the heating mains and reducing non-paid supply of the heat.
 
The results of the heat sales activity of JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” (JSC “FEGC”) in 2008 are turned to be better in general than the year earlier. On Roubles 464 mil has raised the volume of marketable produce (heat power). On 2.5% has increased the volume of collected payment for hot water and heating, including scheduled current payments, settled debts and advances of bona fide customers.

Nevertheless, in 2008 JSC “FEGC” is short-received hundreds of million Roubles for hot water and heating. Out of more than 13 thousand companies and organizations, having contracts for heat supply with energy company, around 10% are afford itself do not pay for heat, some of them “in extremely large amounts”. Thus, only in December the wholesaler from Blagoveschensk of Amurskaya oblast – JSC “Amurskiye Utility Systems” – is short-paid Roubles 100 mil. One more “headache” for the energy company became the debts of the population, especially in Khabarovsky krai and in the south of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Such actions of the customers, especially in crisis conditions on the background of the general financial and economic instability in the country, impede purchase of fuel for production of electric and heat power, conducting scheduled repairs of generating equipment and heating mains of JSC “FEGC”. In this connection the energy company makes more stringent the struggle with debtors.

Roubles 2.6 bill was the debt of the customers for heat power to JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” as of the beginning of 2008. Roubles 805 mil was returned to the energy company in the course of the claim administration and the work with receiving orders. During the last year there was twice improved the efficiency of joint with officers of justice night visits to debtors’ apartments for returning debts for heat power. In Khabarovsk krai were attracted for this work not only the legal department staff, but employees from other departments of JSC “FEGC”. As the result in 2008 from the individuals there was collected under receiving orders nearly Roubles 90 mil. For caparison, in 2007 – Roubles 44.5 mil. Three times increased the volume of debtors’ property arrested. At the same time, many of people, really in desperate living conditions, the energy company made advance to them and conclude agreements on install,ents for paying the debts.

We stress, that the only source of the funds, necessary for normal operation of CHPPs and boiler shops, heat mains is scheduled and complete payment by the customers of the hot water and heating, especially now, when obtaining any credits is connected with great difficulties. The JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” is clearly realized the extent of its responsibility for stable power supply of the region, and will keep on making stringent the actions aimed at struggle with debtors in full conformity with law.
