OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 February 2009 was announced, that to use UTK’s information and inquiry service, Megafone subscribers should dial "0908" from their phones. The price of the service is 12 roubles per minute (excl. VAT).

The mobile subscribers have a priority in provision of this service as the payment for the service is made on a time-based (per minute) basis.

At present UTK’s information and inquiry service can be used by subscribers of Megafone, MTS (phone number 0513),  Beeline (phone number 08109), Smarts (for subscribers in the Astrakhan region – phone number 109, for subscribers in the Volgograd region – phone number 009) and Теlе2 (phone number 009).

UTK’s information and inquiry service is a popular information system which contains various data. In addition to traditional information about a subscriber’s phone number provided on the basis of incomplete data, information and inquiry service 009 will help to receive detailed information on products and services, cultural events, phone numbers and addresses of legal entities on the basis of the kind of their activity, flight schedule and availability of tickets, streets layout, routes of urban transportation, results of football matches, as well as exchange rates, weather forecasts, exact time, addresses and working hours of recreation centers, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes, and many other things. If the subscriber to whom you want to talk, has not placed his/her phone number in the open database, an operator will call him/her and connect you upon his/her permission.
