OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 February 2009 was announced, that Dixy Group – one of the leading food retailers  in the Russian Federation - has announced the appointment of Ilya YAKUBSON to the position of the President of DIXY Group of Companies.

The appointment is made by the Board of Directors of the Company.

Ilya Yakubson was born on January 3, 1972, in the city of Orel. Mr. Yakubson graduated from History Department of Orel State Pedagogical Institute.

Mr. Yakubson holds a Masters Degree in Sociology and a Degree of Master of Business Administration from Kingston University Business School (UK).

From 1997 Mr. Yakubson served as a General Director of "Pallada" Group of Companies.

In 2006-2007 Mr. Yakubson worked as the Vice-president of Trading Company "Megapolis" of "Mercury" Group of Companies.

From February of 2008 Mr. Yakubson worked as the Vice-president of Dixy Group of Companies, where he headed the work of Business Development Department.

Vitaly KLYUCHNIKOV, who served as the President of DIXY Group of Companies during 2008, will continue his career in the “Mercury” Group of Companies where he will head the development of a number of strategic projects of the “Mercury” Group.
