OREANDA-NEWS. On February 06, 2009 WGC-3 Board of Directors has appointed Kirill Parinov (Deputy General Director for Corporate, Proprietary and Legal Issues of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel) to be its Chairman, reported the press-centre of WGC-3.

Kirill Parinov was born on October 21, 1967 in Moscow.

Graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Law Department) and completed Master’s Degree Program at the School of Law of Southern Methodist University (USA).

1991 – 1997: Legal Advisor and Head Lawyer at Moscow offices of foreign law firms.

1997 – 1999: Arco Overseas Petroleum Inc. (USA) – Head of Moscow Representative Office.

1999 – 2001: OJSC SIDANCO – Vice President, Senior Vice President – General Legal Counsel.

2001: OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel – Director of Legal Department (Norilsk, Moscow).

2001 – 2008: CJSC INTERROS Holding Company - Director for Legal Matters, Director of Legal Department, Deputy General Director for Legal Matters.

For the purpose of work optimization by WGC-3 machineries of government and improvement of corporate governance quality, Board of Directors formed four Committees:
Committee for Audit, Committee for Strategy and Development, Committee for Budget, Committee for Corporate Governance, personnel and remuneration.
