OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 February 2009 was announced, that Ingosstrakh had been a partner of ј final match of the Federation Cup women between Russia and China that took place in Moscow on February 7 and 8.

Also, in 2009 Ingosstrakh will be the partner of the Tennis Federation of Russia and General Partner of the twentieth Kremlin Cup 2009. If semifinals of the Federation Cup and Davis Cup are held in Moscow, it will also become the partner for the matches. 

In the Olimpiysky sports complex there was a ceremony to sign the cooperation agreement between Ingosstrakh IJSC and the Tennis Federation of Russia in 2009. The document was signed by Alexander Grigoriev, the General Director of Ingosstrakh IJSC, and Shamil Tarpischev, the President of the Tennis Federation of Russia.

At the signing ceremony Alexander Grigoriev said: “This is a very important event for us. We believe that the Tennis Federation of Russia is one of the most significant and recognized ones in the world of sports associations.  I am sure that Russian athletes will win different tournaments and competitions only if there is a serious support of sports on behalf of business. I want to wish the Federation many years of successful development of this beautiful sport, and all the athletes – good luck and new victories”.

Shamil Tarpischev, the President of the Tennis Federation of Russia, said: “For 8 years Ingosstrakh IJSC has been providing support to tennis in Russia. We can state with certainty that our cooperation has proven to be successful. In the last years Russian athletes have attained very good results. It would suffice just  to mention the Olympic games in Beijing, where our women held outstanding matches and won the full set of medals in singles finals; in September 2008 the women’s national tennis team of Russia won the Federation Cup for the fourth time.  Altogether, in 2008, Russian tennis players of different age categories won international tournaments 443 times. In the rating of the International Tennis Federation of the countries who played in the Federation Cup and Davis Cup, Russia holds the 1st place based on its performance in the last 4 years. I hope that our business relations will continue strengthening and will help athletes attain even better sport results”, he added.

Cooperation between the Tennis Federation of Russia and Ingosstrakh has a long history. Partnership between Ingosstrakh and the Kremlin Cup has become a good tradition – for 8 consecutive years Ingosstrakh has provided support to the tournament. Ingosstrakh will be a partner and insurer of the semifinals of the Federation Cup and Davis Cup, if they take place in Moscow in 2009. In 2008 the Company supported ј final of the Davis Cup, Russia – Czech Republic. Prior to that, Ingosstrakh was a partner of 1/8 final of the Davis Cup, Russia – Serbia (2008), semifinal Russia - Germany (2007) and final Russia - Argentine (2006). In 2006 – 2007 the famous Silver Bowl was insured by Ingosstrakh for the whole period of its stay in Russia.  With Ingosstrakh’s direct support about 100 Russian tennis tournaments were organized, including about two dozens of international ones.  Besides, last year, Ingosstrakh supported celebration of 100 years of the Tennis Federation of Russia. To commemorate the anniversary, there were tournaments held for veterans, juniors, tennis players on wheelchairs and journalists.
