OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 February 2009 was announced, that OJSC Sibirgazservice (a subsidiary of GAZEKS) put into operation a new 115 MW gas boiler-house 300 million rubles worth in Novosibirsk. The new boiler-house will supply heat to over 15 thousand households situated on the right bank part of the Sovetskiy District in Novosibirsk.

The construction of the boiler-house is the largest investment project in the heat-and-power engineering industry of Novosibirsk over the last years. The boiler house of Sibirgazservice has been constructed to substitute an old GazTEK boiler-house which was subject to a severe accident in January 2008. Just then the Novosibirsk Mayor's Office jointly with GAZEKS management made a decision on the construction of state-of-the-art gas boiler-house.

The new boiler-house has the most advanced equipment: "Buderus" Logano М825 hot water boilers (Germany), "Riello" multifuel burners for gas and diesel (Italy) and "GRUNDFOS" pumps (Germany). Emergency storage reserve of 300 tones of diesel fuel guarantees three days of uninterrupted boiler-house operation in case of gas unavailability. High automation of technological process allows for increasing safety and reliability of operation with minimum maintenance personnel involved. Forecasted heat net output exceeds 200 thousand Gcal per year.

The boiler house has been constructed within 10 months and has been commissioned within the initial scheduler. This is the third joint investment project of Sibirgazservice, GAZEKS and the Novosibirsk Mayor's Office. GAZEKS invested into the construction of the boiler-house and the city administration into the infrastructure. "It is crucially important that our joint project comes to the final stage under the conditions of expanding economic crisis. I think that the new boiler-house is a good example of cooperation between business and administration, a good example of a partnership between the state and private company for the benefit of Novosibirsk inhabitants," - head of Retail Division of IES-Holding Andrey Pestov noted.
