OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 February 2009 was announced, that OJC OGK-1 and OSAO Ingosstrakh had concluded property and liability insurance contracts of OJC OGK-1 and ZAO NVGRES. The property of 6 power plants (GRES) has been insured: Permskaya GRES, Nizhnevartovskaya GRES, Verkhnetagilskaya GRES, Kashirskaya GRES, Iriklinskaya GRES and Urengoyskaya GRES, total installed capacity of the 6 power plants amounts to 9, 531 MW. The Insurance coverage under the contract amounts to 152 bln rubles. The “all-risks” insurance coverage includes cars and equipment insurance. Besides, the parties have signed the insurance contracts of OGK-1 subsidiaries liability in case of exploitation of dangerous industrial facilities. Total coverage sum of the contracts amounts to 74 mln rubles. The insurance contracts cover 3rd party life, health and property risks, as well as environmental ones.

The insurance contracts have been sighed in accordance with the “OGK-1 Insurance Program”, adopted by the Board of Directors on January 27, 2009.
