OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 February 2009 was announced, that JSC “First Power Generating Company on the Wholesale Energy Market” (JSC OGK-1) has adopted the Insurance Group SOGAZ as one of the winners of the insurance company tender to insure property and personal liability of OGK-1.

In accordance with the tender results, SOGAZ will render the insurance service for OGK-1 throughout the year of 2009 and will insure civil liability for the 3rd-party life, health and property damage in case of an accident at hydro technical facilities, which belong to the company: facilities at Verkhnetagilskaya GRES, Iriklinskaya GRES and Kashirskaya GRES.

Total limit of insurance contract coverage amounts to 116.8 mln rubles.

In addition, the Insurance Group “SOGAZ” will provide health insurance program for the OGK-1 headquarters and subsidiaries employees. Thus, more than 6 thousand employees will get insurance.
