OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2009. Within the session of the government of Omsk region in the presence of the governor L. K. Polezhayev was held a conference covering the realization of the "Biocomplex" construction project which is maintained by the "Group of Companies "Titan", CJSC, reported the press-centre of Titan.

First deputy industry, transport and communications minister of Omsk region N. Y. Lavrentyev addressed the meeting. Members of the government, heads and experts of the regional administration were also present. The "Group of Companies "Titan", CJSC, was presented by Y. A. Sutyaginsky, the director general of public corporation "Titan-Agro".

As the result of the meeting was agreed a long-term target program "The Building of Agricultural Production Deep Conversion Facility "Biocomplex" in 2009-2015". This program is designed for modernizing the development of the regional agricultural sector and for providing the basis for creation of a special economic zone with all the required infrastructure.

The project "Biocomplex" which is carried out by the public corporation "Titan-Agro" includes about ten production facilities and stipulates the creation of more than 2600 new jobs.
During the stage 1 which will last until 2011 it is planned to launch pig farm, feed mill, poultry farm, meat processing plant, deep grain crops conversion facility and production line of ETBE (ethyl-thret-buthyl ether with bioethanol feedstock).

During the stage 2 lasting until 2015 it is planned to commission a few more objects including production lines for amino acid, organic acids, vitamins, biopolymers, ferments and other facilities.

The project cost is about 35 billion roubles. Today the project financing is conducted at the expense of private resources of the "Group of Companies "Titan", CJSC, borrowed funds and budgetary investments. Budget funds are for the purpose of the infrastructure development and building of a village for the specialists of the "Biocomplex" enterprises. This village is to be situated on the settlement territory of Omsk municipal area.

The building of pig factory objects - breeding farm, reproducer and hog farm and feed mill was conducted since July of the previous year. According to the order of Road maintenance department of Omsk region, scientific production organization "Mostovik" is building the detour road. Petrovka - Kalinovka road will be laid to the breeding farm and to the hog farm until the village Trusovka.

In the result of the program realization the output of food and chemical production will be significantly increased, as the income of regional and local budgets at the expense of tax income from the profits of enterprises. Transport and engineering infrastructure of Omsk municipal area of the region will develop further. This area is the main ground for the establishing of the animal breeding objects within the agricultural production deep conversion complex.
