OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2009. At the Palace of the Republic took place the official ceremony of awarding prizes for winners of contests „The Best Taxpayer of the year 2008”, „Brand of the Year 2008” and granting the State awards in the field of quality, reported the press-centre of Eximbank.

JSCB “Eximbank - Gruppo Veneto Banca” has been awarded the highest prizes of the contests „Brand of the year” and „The best taxpayer of year”. The rank „The best taxpayer of the year” has been awarded to the Bank for the second time in a row, acknowledging its contribution to the economic development and social stability of the country by timely payments of the tax obligations.

The rank „ Brand of the year” has been awarded to Eximbank - Gruppo Veneto Banca for the fourth time for its achievements in strengthening of the positive image on the financial market. Following the results of 2008 the Bank was awarded the Grand Prix in the nomination "Inter" of the category „Financial Institutions, Products and Services” as the most dynamic foreign brand efficiently applying local promotional strategy in the Republic of Moldova.

Granting of the awards is a recognition of the active policy conducted by the Bank in providing financial support for the real sector of the economy, as well as the high growth rate, registered during year 2008, which contributed to strengthening leading positions in the local banking market.
